AICA at NVIDIA GTC 2025

AICA x Schaeffler

If you missed GTC 2025, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! 🚀
AICA was present at the SCHUNK booth, showcasing an advanced dual-arm robotic application that redefines precision and collaboration in automation.

AICA Studio in Action

At our demo, two robotic arms, each equipped with a five-finger hand gripper, worked together to execute a complex screw-driving task with incredible coordination and intelligence. Here’s how AICA’s AI-powered system brought this operation to life:

✦ One arm handles a pneumatically balanced screwdriver mechanism using AICA’s specially developed machine-learning model to predict and compensate for the dynamics of the arm under impedance force control;

✦ A second arm, also controlled by AICA in real time, retrieving screws and positioning them in the thread in precise position control;

✦ AICA System orchestrates the operation of both arms and ensures a synchronized motion for back-to-back screwing of multiple screws.

AICA x Universal Robots

Our team is excited to show you the demo that we showcased together with Universal Robots at the NVIDIA GTC AI Conference in San Jose! 🙌

You can see the power of AICA Studio in action, orchestrating between the Universal Robots’ AI Accelerator and PolyScope X:

✦ Foundation pose: the robot detects, picks up, and moves an object (gear) to the gearbox.
✦ NVIDIA cuMotion: see the robot expertly avoid obstacles on its way.
✦ Learning from demonstration: the robot assembles the gearbox based on prior learning demonstrated by hand.

AICA

AICA’s aim is to make robot programming and control simple: we specialise in robotics software for complex tasks. Our approach includes Artificial Intelligence combined with advanced technologies, which gives robots the sense of touch and the ability to independently adjust to changes in the production line.
